ABOUT
REFERENZ STUDIO
Referenz Studio is a hi-end audio salon in Riga — twenty-one brands, six categories, one standard: sound with no compromise.
Curated by Standard, Not by Volume
The twenty-one brands at Referenz Studio are the product of years of deliberate selection, governed by a single criterion: the quality of sound. Our collection spans electronics, loudspeakers, turntables, cables, stands and power solutions — every category held to the same exacting engineering and artistic standard set by the finest names in the industry. We work with manufacturers whose philosophy rests on an uncompromising approach to reproduction — houses that have spent decades refining their craft.
Curation, for us, is an expression of expertise: a deep understanding of how electronics reveal themselves in a real room, how loudspeakers interact with cabling and power, how a system’s sound becomes whole. It is knowledge built over hours of critical listening — the kind no specification sheet can convey.
The Showroom & Private Listening
Choosing a hi-end system is a deeply personal decision, and it deserves silence and time. Our Riga showroom exists for precisely that: an acoustically considered space where electronics, loudspeakers, turntables, cables, stands and power can be heard side by side, compared in real time, and judged against music that matters to you.
Whether you are building your first serious system or refining a collection assembled over years, the principle remains the same: we listen to you before we suggest what to listen to.
How We Work
Consultation
Every system begins with a conversation, not a catalogue. We listen — to the music you love, the room the system will live in, and the result you're after — before a single component is suggested.
System Selection
Drawing on twenty-one brands across six categories, we assemble a system built around your priorities: electronics, loudspeakers, cabling, stands and power chosen as a considered whole, not a list of separately impressive parts.
Installation
Our team installs every component with the same precision it was engineered with — correct placement, connection and configuration, so the system is ready to perform from the first note.
In-Room Calibration
No two rooms sound alike. We fine-tune the system on site — positioning, acoustic treatment where needed, and calibration by ear — until the sound matches the room it lives in, not a showroom average.
Service & Support
The relationship continues after installation. As the official distributor of MBL and Stromtank in Latvia, we provide direct manufacturer support and remain on hand for maintenance, upgrades and future additions to your system.
Official Distributor of
MBL and Stromtank
Referenz Studio is the official distributor of MBL and Stromtank in Latvia. This status grants direct access to the full range of both brands, along with genuine manufacturer warranty and support — your system is delivered and maintained exactly as its makers intended.
Come Listen
Photographs and specifications can only tell part of the story — the rest is heard in the room. Book a private listening session at our Riga showroom and discover what twenty-one impeccably chosen brands sound like when a system is assembled with true precision.
